Temptation

I was reminded today of God's powers,
how He has a  great plan for everyone,
Satan will entice us with many sins,
playing with our vulnerable emotion.

Satan is trying to gain control,
with lust and wanton sexual desire,
hoping your curiosity will bring you,
near the edge of Hell's abyss and fire.

Satan lurks  deep within your mind,
with thoughts of arousing elation,
hoping to find your one weak moment,
making you sin and fall into temptation.

The devil is always  working overtime,
some people will give into lust and sin,
they have lost their faith in Jesus,
their wanton desire has let Satan win.

Rejoice in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
pray for strength to resist Satan's charms,
temptation will  not dwell in your heart,
as long as you stay wrapped in Jesus arms.

Yes God  has a plan  made for you and me,
I found out today how truly amazing it is,
The King of Kings will work His will on you,
giving you Salvation and eternal bliss.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. We have both talked of temptation and know how powerful it is. But we also know our love for God Our Lord and Savior is a thousand times more powerful. Thank you for always being there for me. Jesus Christ will always dwell in my heart. Take care, Sandy

Melanie, this has got to be the nicest comment I have ever gotten except of coarse for Jason's. (I'm a little partial since he lead me to Jesus Christ) But this has touched my heart. I think we all write in hopes to help someone. When we do it feels so wonderful. Thank you again. Take care, Sandy

Thank you so much Mary. I know how difficult life can be for you teenagers. I am glad I am not one. It seems so hard on you kids. My own grandaughters are 15 and 16. and I know how hard it is for them to juggle everything in their lives. Thank you again. Take care, Sandy

I must say, I agree with lucky... You have grown so much. Allthough we are a flower quickly faiding, you are blossoming in the spirit so much! We are the fragrance of Christ! And you are smelling pretty good, sweet Sandygram. Keep letting the Lord direct you in all your ways. Let no one vier you astray. Trust in the Lord with everything, and He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your ways like the noonday sun.

Like I have told you before my dear... God does indeed speak through you. This has really reached out to me, and I am sure you know the story behind that... But I must tell you this... You have reminde me again that temptation is the devil's biggest weapon. Thanks so much for allowing God's message to flow from you... You will never know how much it means....
You are a inspiration.... a guiding light... I mean that from the bottom of my heart...

    Beautiful spiritual write

Another absolutly wonderful and spiritual and I love the 5th stanza, my favorite line:
temptation will not dwell in your heart,
as long as you stay wrapped in Jesus arms.
Satan will continue to temp us, but as long as we stay close to Jesus, the stronger we will be! God Bless Sandy, your writes have been most inspiring, and I have really loved each and every one! Love you my dear friend, Ann

    Hi Sandy
Isn't our God wonderful, he is always there for us, never turns us away in our time of need.
I think that even though our love for God is so strong, we all give into temptation sometimes, I know I do, but God is always there with his arms wide open inviting me in.
I really liked this poem, it is so true and real.
A wonderful poem, and I am sure God himself loves it too
    Take care because I care

This is such a true poem. I have been in that place all too often so I decided to dedicate this life to purity. The best thing that I could have done. Thanks for writing this poem. Sometimes I need a reminder of why I am doing something and this was it for me. Keep up the great work.

Yes, Satan will try any way he can to intice, influence, and enter in, but Satan cannot get in if Christ is there no matter how hard he tries. You keep that shield about you. Keep the armor on at all times. We cannot fight Satan without Christ. He is working extra hard because he knows his time is winding up. Read Ephesians 6 : 10-20 and stay protected in Jesus name.

What a wonderful testimony you have shared.!

    Much Love,
    Renee
