Burning Out

I can’t get enough of all this craziness, never gonna give it up.
Burning out the tires of my coupe,
One hundred foot drag marks across all that was me and you.
Funny, I thought this would be harder to do!
If you thought I was like all the others, here’s a dose of reality.
A taste of your own medicine, hard to swallow isn’t it?
I’m better than you’ll ever be, so don’t worry.
I’ll never forget the look in your eyes,
A look of complete surprise,
The door slammed,
You ran out to find me pulling out of the drive,
If you thought I’d be back for more,
You’ve seriously lost your mind!
Only the daft run back to be victimized,
Forget that shit, I’d rather die than deal with this.
Turning up the base,
While smoke fills the air... the music plays,
Burning out---

Author notes

Felt like writing something a little more dark/commical...I dunno I think it's kind of funny. It's exagerated a bit, had a slightly similar situation but not quite. I'd definatly do this if I ever had the opportunity lol
