Bankrupt

A BANKRUPT SOUL
WHERE MISERY IS CROWNED
FRAGILITY INCREASES
A HOME TO THE DAMNED.

I love this. It is so short and is like a cry of desperation. Great work.

I always love it when someone takes just a few mere words and turns them into something so powerful...As much as this stands so well on its own I would love to see it expanded.

This feels so empty, not the poem, the feelings evoked by this brilliantly created short expressive exploration. I found this to be deep and profound in so many ways. As if given the dark side of the human condition as aging occurs…when the body begins its failing and the soul does not keep up the process of letting go of this life to embrace the next….instead, trying to hold onto this side of life it experiences bankruptcy
    An amazing poem.

    Blessings and best wishes,
