Locked away deep inside,
No matter how hard I tried.
Somehow you snuck in,
Unleashing your corruption.
With your devious smile
And sarcastic wit
I always know of the trouble we’re about to be in.
Thank you for the silliness you’ve brought back into my life.
I’ll never forget all of the wild nights,
Drama that could go on for miles,
Peculiar notes left on dry erase boards
Boston accents and funnels,
Could there possibly be more?
Take me along for the ride anytime,
Proud to be the mascot of our group…
‘Cause I’m not crazy enough for the dirrty crew.
How could I ever forget all of our ridiculous theme songs?
Singing loudly on our way to campus,
While our classes continue to drag on.
I’ll let you play your part in having corrupted me,
You can have all the credit,
For I dread never hearing the end of it.
I can see it unfold now…
As you slam the bathroom door in my face,
Yelling that the divorce papers are on their way.
Pretending to be mad, but I can hear you laugh…
Five minutes later you love me again,
And it’s time to drive off to a party in Portsmouth!
Author notes
Dedicated to my awesome roommate! I wanted to write something different, something that was more fun so this is what I wrote. It's about some of the fun times I've had so far in college, enjoy!
