Heheheh that bird in the pic looks like a cardinal, the way he's upright with his back straight and looking down!
Different birds remind you of different seasons then? -

I do believe the male cardinal is the most brilliant red being that the females in the bird family are not nearly as pretty as the males. This is great! The New Year beginning with the prettiest red bird is a wonderful scene for me. Good luck in the challenge!
