Child Option # 4

CHILD

I am a child, I said.
I do as a child, think the thoughts of a child
Garnered from womb-time
Ancient years ago and more.
But only the child's eyes
Live the thoughts, dark or light,
She brings forth from the womb
But canot give tongue to.

If you take away my child-time
You take away my wisdom
Culled from lives borrowed from forever.
You take not my child-time alone,
But yours as well, since that child-time in you
Waited to join with mine
And, in breaking mine, was forsaken.

I am a timeless child and I can show you,
If you will, how to take back into yourself
The innocence you forsook, and my innocence,
Trailing with yours across undiscovered lives
Until we become the timelessness of no space
And all Being.

    This is beautifully deep

wow....still daunting on it.....I feel the timelessness of bearing our youth...long missed and forgotten....yet still it thrives..our wisdoms come from childhood to adulthood...we at one time or another relate back to it....perhaps many more times than we care to imagine....still your words are expressively written.....what accumulates in my thoughts is the place we cannot go without...all others whom crossed our path in life.....Love this writing...Poet
    ....for your child time....

I think this is more about the child than childhood itself.... a deep and different thought. Thanks for entering and good luck!
