Dandelions

Missing image

As gentle as a babe's breath on a warm cheek
....these fragile whispers of nature flourish...
buttercup shades of yellow as warm sun..

during summer and autumn turning into
ghosts of former glory...

Spidery tendrils of skeleton reflections
of petals.. once rich gold... now blank
of colour...eerily beautiful... pure.

We are blessed with many wonderful creations, often mistaken for weeds I love the arrogance and pride of these fragile but strong plants...and with the slightest breeze they fly like faeries on the winds of time . Many thanks for your kindness once again , it is very much appreciated

What a beautiful painted picture of a dandelion. From it's beginning to end. And to think, we are always trying to pluck these little creations out from our green lawns......

This was wonderful to read. It seems obvious that you have worken with blind people. I know they appreciate all the visualizations we can possibly give. Your writing sounds like you truly do enjoy bringing happiness to others.

    Carefully plucked from living stem
A wish is made and with a breath
    Our dreams take flight

Lovely image in this poem. I liked the last stanza best. Marvelous!

That breath is so gentle...and so comforting. Lifting your soul to heights never dreamt possible and keeping you on solid ground. So magical...I loved this, it was so visually-stimulating.
