Sometimes a heart goes through painful times
Love is tarnished as it taints the soul and mind
While the heart does break from actions of another
The body wants to give up on any future lover
Then by some whimsical moment of magic
Love can still prevail even in a minute of tragedy
It could be in a general form or be specific
But I have learned that you have to let love be
Thank you Kristi for making me believe in love again
My world has become so much better since I let you in
I know how time can make a life disappear before my eyes
But your memory will live on through love that won't die

Thank you Kristi for helping me to get over my ex-wife. It was you who demonstrated that true love can still exist. If not for you I would not have been able to go forward with anyone in my life. I thank you.

She is such a lucky woman! I'm so happy you had someone who picked you up while you were falling down and made you believe in love again. I know there's someone out there like that for me, I just wish they'd find me already! LOL

I think putting a link from your page to mine was a good idea Jim. I will keep you posted about Kristi. I just finished talking to her...I call her everyday if I don't make it over there to visit with her. She said to give you her love. She is feeling pretty good today she says but she is so very weak. I could tell it in her voice so I didn't keep her on the phone long. Just thought I would let you know...she also told me to tell you Happy New Year! Jim, this was so beautiful. I read this to Kristi and she was so overwhelmed by it. She cried but she told me to tell you those tears were happy ones.She said to tell you that she will love you always even after she is no longer here.
I know it is hard on her but still she tries to remain strong for us.
This was written with love and I can tell that your feelings for Kristi are very deep. I am sure your love for Kristi is something she will always remember. Very nicely done!

This is a sweet poem you have written here. It is always helpful to get through events in our lives if we have others that truly care to help us through. Love gets us through the toughest of times. I am glad you had someone by your side to help get you through.

Kristi's page is no longer on AP. The last I heard she was out of remission and she gave her lifelong membership which Jim had given her to her cousin. I too went to visit her page but found it to be gone. God Bless you Kristi. Jim I know Kristi helped you so much. She was an angel sent to you in your time of need. This poem will touch her heart whether here or in the afterlife. I know she truly loved you.
