Masterly and with eloquence
you guide your pen,
Expressing yourself
from a Spirit deep within.
Letting your words flow
at their own will,
Insecurities linger
but your pain is now still.
Silently you have allowed
your childhood to sleep,
Strongly hoping the memories
won't cause you to weep.
A new life has been given
to you from our precious Lord,
Jesus the Redeemer
is now your Mighty Sword.
Praise Him each day
that you're blessed to see,
Enjoy living your life,
for He set you free.
Love has brought you
and sweet Jesus together,
Tenderly worship Him
and love Him forever.
I am so thankful
for a friend that's so dear,
Eternally I'll be grateful
that God led us here.
Relish Him on your birthday
and all through the year.

A lovely acrostic for your friend. You do wonderful tributes for people that you care for. I haven't really given them much of a try. Happy birthday to your friend!

Thank-you for this poem! I will treasure it and your words for always, as they are the words of wisdom and the truth from God. I will relish in Him on my Birthday and all through the year as I watch now where He is guiding me. It may not always be pleasant but I know He has a greater plan and I can endure. It is the greatest gift to receive. I am glad that Christ guided us together as well and set us on the same path. It warms my heart to have a true friend like you!
