Baby girl,
I am sorry I couldn’t see you grow,
I know that I left you all alone.
Here in the darkness that was the world,
I sat and pondered the way things were,
You were so young in your mother’s arms,
Touching, sweet, and unalarmed.
I know what I did you may never forgive,
I wanted you to know that as long as you live—
I still love you please learn to forgive.
Never forget my life,
For as long as you remember I will stay alive.
Deep in your heart, reach inside
You will find the spark like a glimmer in your eyes.
I am in you just look at yourself.
Your features speak of your hidden wealth.
I am in you, you will see.
Ask your mommy she knew me.
Don’t let the tears well in your eyes,
I want you to be happy,
So please don’t cry.
I know I left you and that kills you inside.
But I am here, I would never lie.
I love you forever,
Never forget,
If you need me ever,
Don’t forget
That deep inside you that’s where I live!
Deep inside you I will always sit.
Love you forever, never forget, Baby Girl!
Ben
