Pozo=Poetic Perfection

Pozo is a talented writer of poetry,
her free verse is beyond compare,
though her poems can be very political,
she can also write with such loving care.

Only sixteen but wise beyond her years,
her poetry is written with such perfection,
critical comments are always welcome,
will say if your poem needs correction.

Her political views are conservative,
she believes in the good Lord above,
an A student in her Drama class,
our dear pozo recently fell in love.

Though pozo lives in  Great Britain,
she has political views of the United States,
she is anti abortion and for gay rights,
she thinks George Bush is really great.

Pozo is such a wonderful young lady,
she has charm, intelligence and grace,
to know her, read her fantastic poetry,
guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.

    As i said I am not judging poetry untill the contest is closed but i am looking at authors notes to see if they read the rules. You did put Pozo My Pozo though a typo made it Ny Pozo, Lol simple mistake but also you never put a poem of Pozo-mum's in your suthors notes as my rules said to. You have untill the day I end the contest to change these things, and no I am not being rude just want to make sure your entry is not disqualified.

    wonderful

    what a wonderful homage to a poet in this heart-warming portrait; i've enjoyed reading some of pozo's work, but didn't realize she was female and so young.

    i hope you don't mind me saying this, but there may be a grammatical error in this stanza:

    Her political views are conservative,
    she believes in the good Lord above,
    an A student in her Drama class,
    our dear pozo has recently fell in love.

    perhaps the last line could be something like:

    our dear pozo has recently fallen in love.

    or perhaps:
    our dear pozo recently fell in love.

    you've made somebody very happy with this poem;
    i'm sure you will do well in the contest
    as in my mind you're a winner already.

    I wrote a poem for Pozo too, because she must have the muse of about 5 people and the speed of a professional typist... and it's all good! Look, since June she's written almost 1,000 poems! Hmm, if this is a prewrites-allowed contest I might enter. Best of luck!

    The title drew me in because like many others, I have read Pozos great poetry. This was very sweet. She should feel very honored which, Im sure, she does. Great job!
