I let him be my life
I let him be all that was on my mind
I let him be everything I cared for
And then I let him walk out the door
I lost my only one
I let go of the moon’s son
I let go of the cat with wolf eyes
And the way an angel smiles
I failed in keeping love
Now forget about the white dove
What I let walk away
Was where my life held sway
“Are you sure this is what you want?” they say
“Because your heart and soul both died today”
But I’ve not yet realized what this has done
That I let go of my only one
I lost my only one
I let go of the moon’s son
I let go of the cat with wolf eyes
And the way an angel smiles

Thank you. I do feel better, and it's only improving...

I don't know what to say except I'm sorry. Theis was a very emotional piece and I liked it a lot. Good luck and I hope you are feeling better, and if not, then soon.

I can tell there was some serious emotion put in this peice. I love it, its awesome. Great Job

emotional, good
like i said on the other poem, that's gotta hurt letting go of someone you love... good use of wording. i'd say this poem is the color of rain. that's how i'd describe it. i think you were either crying, or feeling very cold inside when you wrote this. but then how would i know? like i said, good wording, my friend.
