My trust
A must
I will always be alone
If my honesty is unknown
Believe?
Deceive?
What should I do?
I have no clue
Can I betray?
On this day?
On this day
I can betray
I have a clue
Of what to do
Deceive!
Believe!
If my dishonesty is unknown
I will never be alone
A must
My trust

Reading down shows a confident person making a decision. Reading up shows a person who jumped to a decision and then starts questioning it.

You played with the form and made it work quite well!

Extremely creative play on this form! I love it. I doubt I could ever have accomplished something like this. Holding the content both ways was about all I could manage but you have given a twist in meaning for each way the poem is read. Have not seen this done before. Great idea. Thank you for an excellent entry.
