Thank You Jesus

Lord looking back throughout my life,
I see all the mountains and the hills,
you put them there for me to climb,
to strengthen my own freewill.

God you have tested me all my life,
though I denied my faith was true,
you were always there by my side,
when I did not believe in you.

I look back on my life and wonder,
how could I have been so blind,
your presence was always nearby,
though you were so far from my mind.

Thank you Lord for watching over me,
til I could find my way to your door,
I rejoice in your love every day,
you are in my heart forever more.

Wrap me in your sweet love dear Jesus,
I have denied you for much too long,
I am no longer lost and all alone,
let me praise you Lord with a song.

    I think this is absolutely beautiful..and I agree it was a joy to read. I think we all should say these wonderful words to Jesus...as he guides us all through until we open the door to him and his powerful love.

    Keep writing your inspiring words...I love them.

    Beautiful, well written, a joy to read. The flow is marvelous. I love how it naturally flows from stanza to stanza. The first and last verse together say it all. Thanks for writing. God Bless.

    Nice! Really, really nice. There could be some editing needed with the spelling, but all in all, I like the mood of this write. It's very soothing, comforting.
