There once was a green dragon,
had the meanest breath in town.
Every time this dragon spoke,
the smell would knock you down.
Everyone called him Stinky,
but his name was really Fred.
He didn't have to eat you,
one whiff and you'd be dead.
Stinky wanted a sweetheart,
he liked a horse named Blue,
one day he tried to kiss her,
she kicked him with her shoe.
Stinky was feeling lonely,
he left the town that day.
On a search for true love,
he would travel far away.
Stinky searched the meadows,
then he searched the towns.
Every where Stinky would go,
his breath made them frown.
Stinky went to live alone,
in his cave upon the hill.
To live a quiet existence,
lonely life quiet and still.
Something smelled wonderful,
as he got at home that day.
Someone had moved in his cave,
while he had been far away.
As they looked at each other,
one look took his breath away.
she did not mind his bad breath,
as she spoke to him that day.
Stinky finally found true love,
she was named Abby Rose.
He fell in love with a skunk,
by smelling through his nose.

You know, I really think this piece STINKS! Well, OK, I guess that's what it's supposed to do, huh? LOL! But seriously, I thought the ending was very catchy! I was wondering how you were going to conclude this. POOR STINKY! He was so all alone, but thankfully, Sandygram rescued him from his dilemma! Nice write! very creative!

This is cute.
Boy I wonder sometimes what those skunks eat that make them so potent. But skunks are really good gentle animals that care for their babies really well. This is cute sandy, really cute. -

An absolute joy to read!
What an absolute joy! I laughed all the way through...wanted to give that boy some "breath savers", lol. How creative, I was captured by this, kept my attention all the way through, so perfect for children, but also a sheer pleasure for me, "The Big Kid",
This, I insist must take the Gold! Stinky wins in my book, all the way and his lovely skunk Rose! Not only was this funny, but heart touching as well! Ann
