Lately we've just been cutting deeper
Dancing with our private reeper
Sending ourselves down the drain
Dancing in the rain
Lately we've gone further down
Being too busy polishing our crown
Not noticing the way we frown
Still acting like a clown
Lately we've ignored ourselves too much
We should know the human mind cannot take it such
So let's flush it further down the drain
Maybe we'll forget about the pain
Lately you've been changing who you are
Screwing a lid firmly on the jar
Building an everlasting wall
Ignoring my every call
Lately I have found out who I am
Still feels like a major traffic jam
But how I survived my private nam
Is all defining who and what I am
Lately we've been drifting far apart
Even you have lost your grip on my heart
So let's flush it further down the drain
And maybe we'll forget the pain
Author notes
I know there is not that much hate in this poem, but it is more about the time where I began to give up, because I could never hate anyone, especially not this person....
