Years pass by,
and you might need to cry.
Looking back of all the events in your life,
and the world spread out around you.
Have you taken the time to
realize the things that haven't done?
Do you have a clue?
We all have regrets and wish to go back,
but must realize that won't happen,
maybe there is hope--2005.
An upcoming year,
more events to write in our life stories.
It's a fresh new chapter,
so you have a chance to change life,
to do what you want.
Make the new year the best year,
try as hard as possible to make life perfect.
Make life good in this new year,
and make every year improve as the number grows.

This is a great and wise sentiment, all of life is rarely perfect but parts are often perfect; be happy and don't be too hard on yourself or your loved ones, have fun! I hope your year is going well!
