This is actually very lovely. It might read a little better if you cut it into stanzas. I think you may have rushed this just a tad to get it into a contest. It has a very nice flow, but you broke stride placing content over form. I think you are way good enough to have slickened out those few little bumps and hit a home run with this. But as it is it is still quite lovely. It has great sentiment and I believe that it would make a really sweet lyric. -
