Lillies on the altar, spread for all to see. This reminds me of something I read recently in A Course In Miracles.
But whatever, it's a wonderful little haiku, full of beauty & promise.

Beautiful!
This has nice images.Being a non-Christian I did not understand the deeper meaning to this at first, but after reading through the comments from others and your point as well, this write becomes even more beautiful.
Best Wishes,
Charishma

I remembered the source of the quote this reminded me of...
~ His disciples said to him, "When will the kingdom come?"
"It will not come by watching for it. It will not be said, 'Look, here!' or 'Look, there!' Rather, the Father's kingdom is spread out upon the earth, and people don't see it."
~ Gospel of Thomas: 113

Thank you
I feel the passage manages to put much spiritual truth into few words. Not to worry about tomorrow - living in the evernow. The "naturalness" of the Kingdom - how nature is natural perfection. The folly of seeking human splendour, the ways of kings.
It's a very zen-like message Christ communicates in this passage: Everything, just as it is, is Truth; is testimony to the glory of God. -
Excellent!
This is a great condensation of the whole passage, that we need not worry about what we wear, but to seek the kingdom first. The image combines earth and heaven, it's simply beautiful.

Lovely image! Excellent dimension to Luke 12:27 (I think the contest rules request the reference be included in author's comments).
