Throughout the years
Since the beginning of America
Our Military has fought
To keep our country free.
Men and women of every race
Have come together
To help us keep our freedoms
And still take care of families.
No matter what your feelings
About what the government has done
Their decisions are not popular
But our Military is not to blame.
They have a job to do
Just like anyone else
They take their orders
From a commander.
An order is given
They must obey
They do not have a choice
They must obey.
Their loved ones left
Alone at home
To take care of
Each other.
Our men and women
Wherever they are
Need our support
More than ever.
If you pray
Get on your knees
Give thanks for them
And their families.
Their sacrifices great
Some the ultimate
They deserve the best
We have to offer.
God bless them all
Their families too
For giving us the right
To all our freedoms.
