It is the Christmas season,
full of yuletide cheer,
pain hides in his laughter,
Andy feels sad this year.
Happy childhood memories,
now seem so far away,
no more family gathering,
as one on Christmas Day.
Your parents still love you,
though they are apart,
have faith in their love,
keep God in your heart.
So many sad Children,
have no mom or dad at all,
having no happy memories,
of a loving family to recall.
Count all your blessings,
on this Christmas day,
you still have so many,
they have not gone away.
Put on a Christmas album,
hear Joni Mitchell sing
listening to the carolers,
hear the sleigh bells ring.
Andy, try to enjoy Christmas,
though not still together,
your parents will help you,
through the stormy weather.
God gave his only son,
to brings goodness to Earth,
so be joyous on this day,
smile, celebrate Jesus birth.
