once upon a midnights dream
I saw your face
its haunting me
your heart taken
mine open still
will you ever take a look & reveal
that I am here
with open arms
standing to heal
the rain begins to pour
as I look from a distance
not knowing if your heart will ever be mine
I just wish our paths were the same
to hold your hand
to kiss away your pain
if only in dreams is where you lie
my reality will surely die
what is a dreamer like me to do
as this dream I follow true
because every night just know
I dream of you
