Daddy, what did you do
To make Mommy cry
Daddy, what did I do
To make you hit my eye
Daddy, they're so little
Why do you yell at them?
Daddy, what did they do?
To make them want the end
Even with it all, Daddy
I want to stay with you
But Daddy, what can I do
I promise it true
I love you Daddy, yes
But I'm scared of your fist
With time I'll tell someone
That you have hurt us like this
But Daddy, right now you're the one
That I want to know
So Daddy as you read this
Know that I do care
But Daddy know that now
I wish that you weren't there
Author notes
This is about my father. I wrote a poem similar to this when I was little. So I found it and rewrote it while keeping the wording similar.

You describe so many deep emotions. So many emotions are fighting against each other. You did it fantastic and I know how hard that must be on you. You describe the feelings the questions that you have. Why are you doing this? Why are you behave yourself the way you do? I really hope he have read this excellent piece and is able to fully understand the pain that you going through. Your love for him in such a conflict with the things he did to all of you
Great done
