Fictional Reality

I knew what would happen,
I’ve done it all before,
I just can’t stop myself,
I’ve always wanted more.

I build it up and watch it fall,
Wreaking havoc on my mind,
I can’t stay here forever,
Always in the world I’ll wind.

My fictional reality,
My strong unbroken cage,
Created by myself,
Doomed from the very first page.

Pure and utter fiction,
Fairytales never come true,
In “real life” I must stay,
To start a life anew.

Author notes

well, it's all true.  I create what I want and sometimes that is what I see,not the real thing, which is y I'm in the predicament I'm in now, breaking up w/ a guy in less than a week cuz I saw him how I wanted, not how he really is.
