my friend is gone too ::hugs;: also at the age of 16. he was one of the first people i met at my school when i transferred out of my district to be placed in an alternative school. i had only been there a few days/weeks, and he was new too. so i welcomed him. as trivial as it may seem, orange soda makes me think of him. we were the only kids out of like, 80 something students that drank it. tehy got a case for us each week
little memories are what make the hard moments easier to deal with.
i didn't see much of him outside of school, only the occasional run in while out with friends. but i missed him. somethign to be said about seeing the same face every day for three years, then all of a sudden POOF...gone
right after i graduated too. at a time when my friend who is practically my brother was going to start training for the army ((thankfully he managed to get out of the army, or else his plattoon was going to be in iraq
i'm glad i picked this poem to read, it's kind of comforting to be able to say: i know what you've been going through. nice to know one isn't alone with things like this ::nods::

It's a tough road to go when you lose someone that's so close to you. Just remember, they might not be with you in body, but they are there in spirit and always will be there. You should be happy for him that he is no longer in any misery. Keep up the good writing. Take care and God Bless.

Its very sad when someone choses suicide and your asking all the questions the ones who are left with the pain ask. Good venting poem. Im sorry you lost a friend and may he always be with you in your heart.

I liked this...much thought and emotion behind this. But I have to give my opinion...first off, Why Are You Writing Like This? It really through me off.
Also in lines one and five, I would change the numbers into writing; i.e. three, not 3 and sixteen, not *16*.
In line fourteen, I felt that "your" should be "you're."
But over all, this is just a venting poem, so it doesn't need to be perfect, just my two cents. I just enjoy getting criticism such as this, in order to better my work. Good job!

this is a very beautiful tribute to someone who obviously meant a lot to you...sometimes we can never have the answers, but we can put our emotions out there so that maybe someone else can gain courage, hope...love. great job with this

Well I didn't technically enjoy it. Don't get me wrong it's good but it's not exactly a topic to enjoy. I don't know what it's like to lose a friend this way but I do have a friend who has experienced this and it's something that she'll never forget. It's a tragedy that should never have occured but it happens but unfortunately not everyone moves on...

I am so sorry about your loss. It's hard enough to lose someone that you care about, but especially when they are so young and it's by their own hand. This is a really good piece.
