Thank You Jesus

My broken heart has been repaired,
once empty now it is full of love,
this miracle happened not long ago,
when a voice called down from above.

His voice touched my very soul,
I felt the earth move under my feet,
tears flowed like the river Jordan,
it was Jesus  I was about to meet.

He held me so gently in His arms,
dried up my tears one by one,
lifted  my burden off my shoulders,
He was God's only begotten son.

That first night we talked for hours,
Jesus told me I was home to stay,
that night I became a  Christian,
reborn, my broken heart went away.

Now when I get tired and weary,
yes there are many days that I do,
I talk to God to find the strength
my faith in God sees me through.

Great poem. I really admire your faith.. I really do. I've spent the past years in my life as a struggling Christian, and as of right now I know I'm failing.. but I love reading your poems because they provide me with a sense of reassurance. Keep writing, you work is wonderful.

What a n ice testimony this makes Sandy, well done indeed, not to much said just right, for as they say to endlessly go on in debate is not God talking but man himself, you’ve truly an open heart to God here it seems here my friend.
