Classroom society

They sat at the back of the classroom,

 Every lesson,

And nobody saw them.

. . . .Well they never saw THEM.

            Because they were people.

Not Just greasy hair.

Not just a sexuality.

Not just 17% on a maths exam.

    . . . But people.

She would write whatever she felt,

she would write about the trees in the background.

    He'd draw the trees,

And put piano into that writing.

But no one ever saw that.

. . .They saw him glance at other boys. . .

    . . .They saw the dresses she'd wear. . .

So they were ex-spelled from their classroom society,

and made to sit at the back of the class.

    Shame,

      You put the most interesting,
              talented,
                        Kids,
         At the back.

    Ironic isn't it?

      Now their in the spotlight,
and your daughter plays their album.

 You could of said

       'I used to know them,
                   Interesting folks,
            He even drew me,
               a portrait'.

  But you'll never say that.
             Because you didnt know them

      Did you?

           Staring st that T.V screen,
                       its hard to believe,
the girl who you made run out of lesson,
                                  crying,
                        Is now singing her heartbreak.
              While you just cry.

     But your third Child,
           crying in his cot,
So stop staring at the T.V screen,
         and attend to him.

         Stop living in your past,
                in your regret.

     Because maybe,
          that child,
The one who cries out for you,
           could be great,
          one day to

this is great, the message is so well put through, this reminds me of the song 'sk8ter boi' though without the love part i guess. i really like your broadness on topics and how you present them. fantastic work, i really enjoyed.

    keep showing us your mind

your authors notes are wrong your getting so much better. this one surpasses anything you've done before. those of us who've been expelled from their society, we're out here and listening. were waiting or our time, everyone who's had it so easy and had everything handed to them, the world is going to destroy them. but it's people like us, the losers, freaks, geeks, social misfits, and cutters. we're going to lead the world some day because we've earned it.
