Happiness

I look back and only remember the happy memories
Where we loved and grew to hate
When we used to hold hands and walk our separate ways
Try hard to make our lives the same
But we were just not meant to be

We stared at the lit sky
Then gaze into each others eyes
Spoke words that only our spirits could hear
To say things that would bring laughter
But those days were yesterday

I miss those moments
Where the sun would shade us
And the trees would rain on our love
The strength of our parents couldn't pull us apart
But yet the lie did it all

I miss you and still love you
But i will not return in the blink of an eye
For I am engaged to my happiness
And I wouldn't want to mess it up
So farewell my love

this is just a poem expressing how a lie could ruin everythin...i choose 2. write about how a person or the loss or the loss of a person made you feel miss them ext....i commented on I don't fit the cutout and why does it kill me by the creater of the contest ..
