I never knew what sex you would be.
How tall you'd be,
I just wanted someone like me.
Honest, intellectual, modest, and easy going.
I found it all in you and it didn't take long for me to notice.
Even though we've never met I can imagine what that future would be like for us,
you are 100% open with me so I know we wouldn't have issues with trust.
Yeah you are most definitely sexy and that's a plus,
but it's not all about that I just love the way you can make me smile.
You're my knight in shining armor,
you always come running to my rescue when I need you,
when i'm feeling down or lonely,
there you are to eradicate any negative energy that I feel.
It just takes one word from you and I'm smiling all over again.
I can sit on the phone with you for hours and never get bored,
even if we don't say anything.
It's like when I'm talking to you you are my drug you make me high.
Even Mary Jane don't make me feel the way you make me feel inside.
Your voice is so seductive,
it turns me on.
Your personality is so intriguing its what I like about you the most.
You remind me of myself, I can understand.
I feel you reaching out to me and I'm grabbing on to your hands.
I'm never letting go, even if you wound up with someone else.
I'll always be true to you.
Whether we're friends or lovers
Your girl Lady will always see you through,
your troubles and your joys.
Some may say that this is coming off too strong,
but that's the impression you left on me.
You can call me when your lonely, happy, sad, or upset.

I get the feeling of 'waiting and admiring from afar' with this one...a beautiful write indeed. I wish I had the words to write for someone who I am interested in at the moment, yet is over 2,000 miles away...and since all the women seem to throw themselves at him, it is an icicle's chance in hell that I will get him to notice me
In the beginning of the poem you intimated that you hadn't yet met, and had no idea what the person looked like, but I do hope that they come to materialize... because with a plea like this, who can likely resist?

This was very descriptive. I felt as if I were people watching (as I do quite often) and saw two people, best friends, lovers, everything to each other walking along hand in hand. I loved it. It read very easily and that's hard to do with free verse. Great job! And who ever he/she is, is very lucky to have you...or will be very lucky to have you, if ya'll haven't found each other yet.
