It's Not Easy Being Four

When you say yes
I say no
when you say stop
I say go

Tell me it's green
I'll say it red
I like peanut butter
on jelly bread

My big brother
he is a pest
don't like peas
fries are best

I Like the mud
and like the rain
oh no I broke
the window pain

I am big
you say I'm small
you say four
isn't old at all

I like to run
and roller skate
Saturday morning
cartoons are great

Apples are red
the sky is blue
know what mom
I love you

    When I read the title of your poem... I immediately started singing the song in my head... "Its not easy being green" by Kermit Frog... and then... when I clicked on it and was brought to a green smiley place... I thought... how perfect. Made me want to be four again. Congratulations on receiving recognition for your efforts :-)
