Leaping lizards
hit the books
hang coats
on the hooks
Munch lunch
not too hot
microwave
not a pot
Holy mackerel
wash that dish
boy it stinks
from tuna fish
Blasting music
is a crime
cops arrive
pay a fine
Feed the dog
feed the cat
not your face
get real fat

What a cute write - great for the grandkids I bet. Liked the flow, the rhythm, rhyme and quickness of the poem. LOve your author page too. Doesn't gets do a great page? He did mine too and I sure am amazed at how many he does do on this site.

This is very cute, i could always use a good laugh. i love the first stanza 'leaping lizards, hit the books, hang coats, on the hooks' the leaping lizard part was very cute and reminded me of an inside joke between myself and some friends. good memories. thanks for sharing and making my day a little bit brighter with you excellent poem.

Thanks for commenting on my poem
