Lost in this

Today lets watch the clouds go by,
slip under the suns radar
and fall into the sky…

How do I say these words?
They have become lost in emotions
and the fearful subtleties
that I can’t get past

I search in your eyes
for meanings that I can not fathom,
for things that I can not hold on to…

I’ve tried it too many times.

Would I be lying to myself
Holding back truths,
if I said I’m not sure if I’m in this
cause I don’t know if you’re in this?

Well are you?

When all I want is to be in your arms,
and is that so wrong?

I want your eyes to whisper love songs to my soul
and breath life into this!

I barely know you,
except for what I see,
and I can’t judge by your hesitant movements
and secret messages
laced with ideals of maybes…

I’m lost in how to do this

Author notes

So I'm back...well for now. Been suffering from some major writer's block and lack of time to just sit and write. Hopefully that will soon end. January is my muse's month...so hopefully she will come visitin' soon

I'm not sure where this one came from....
But Enjoy!

In time we learn that many people on whom we trust ae only a shimmering of what we believed and expected. But now and than there's a golden soul between them and that makes living worthfull. Sometimes writerblocks do disappear but sometimes they also come back. Have a lucky and healty new year

    Welcome back

This is a brilliant poem Asks the fundamental question do we really know how to live or how to love? I sure haven't got a clue. I love the directness of the question "Well are you" You would be a good person to know. Thank you.

I Like this a lot...Mostly because I can relate to it best, but i think it's what a lot of people feel. People feel lost and confused and frustrated when they don't feel they know a person. It's really hard to understand people...We're weird animals...

    Sorry for my ramble...

    Good write. Lots of feelings.

    My dear Zan.

How true this holds to me as right now I'm oh so wishing the same things. Funny how similar things happen to close friends at the same time. At least we have each other to count on in case some members of the opposite sex flake out on us.

Very good write by the way! I don't really know how to be critical seeing as I think all my work stinks. But you know that I love all of your stuff and wish that had even half of your talent. I always look forward to reading more from you!

    Much love,
    Chele

~The wind plays a song for us, on blades of grass as we sit and listen, from senset to daybreak.~

"Today lets watch the clouds go by,
    slip under the suns radar
    and fall into the sky…"
-I thought that was some beautiful imagery.

    "I barely know you,
    except for what I see,
and I can’t judge by your hesitant movements
    and secret messages
    laced with ideals of maybes…"
-Reading someones emotions, feelings, and intentions is a tough task. Searching for truth behind masks can leave our fingernails cluttered with dirt as we dig deeper for it, and we may be dissapointed at what we find. Or we can accept what we see, and beleive, hope perhaps, that we never find out different.

~Hope allows us to trek through the most terrifying unknowns, and reminds us to return safely. Without hope, all is lost.~
