Wrinkle

Deaths storm troopers of age
marching down the dessert dune,
leaving their tracks
in the wasteland of agelessness.
The sun, beating it down.

I had the same reaction as Lyrical Soul, on second reading I realised it had said what I thought when I read it superficially the first time. It's very neat. And says something quite amazing.

I agree with blue-eyedbabe up there. I had to read it twice then it was like "WOW, now I get it" This really is quite complex. Nice job

this is such a short, seemingly simple poem, but it paints an extremely vivid picture and is actually quite complex. i really like it and i hope you keep up the good work!!
