A Life With God

Living this Christian life began in July,
at times it's been overwhelming for me,
the night Jesus Christ came into my heart.
it was so glorious to finally find Thee.

My family are all non Christian,
but my love for God helps me endure,
my new Christian friends give me strength,
their love guides me when I am unsure.

Now I read the scriptures everyday,
I give Jesus all of my burdens to bare,
I praise Him for giving me my Salvation,
He comforts and gives love beyond compare.

I now give thanks to Jesus for my blessings,
without Him my life was nothing at all,
barely existing in a life of pain and sorrow,
now I have Jesus to pick me up when I fall.

Now I live a Godly life each and every day,
I thank the Lord in every thing I do,
each morning I wake and say thank you God,
then I pray and say sweet Jesus I love you.

    Excellent words Sandy. Reading some of what you write is almost like saying my prayers. Each and every day there are so many times I just look up and say "Thank you God for all my Blessings". Religion is very important in my life also. Also in my daily prayers I thank Jesus for His Sacrifice and for His guiding me as I go about my day. I feel sorry for those who do not have any belief as a belief helps a person to cope with life so much better. Again thank you for all your nice remarks about what I write. Have a wonderful day and may all your days come up with the smell of roses.
