Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
Like the fireflies in my jar,
‘Till I wake up from my bed;
You’ll be sleeping--they’ll be dead.

LOL, excellent little rewrite of a child’s nursery rhyme. How pleasantly twisted, I do approve. Good write.

Poor little critters... they didn't know what was comin' did they. Good one!

Now this does have that little bit of a naughty twist to it at the end, kind of a sad look at the end that is lost for the humor in the piece. It actually is a piece of conflicting emotion, you think it'll be sweet, then humerous, then wicked lol.
