Shooting Stars

Novas
form a
radiant
sight
creating
a luminous
cloud
that
glimmers
so bright
while it
falls
down
to Earth
amidst
brilliant
streaks
of light
my eyes
become
captivated
upon this
wondrous
heavenly
sight

    Beautiful!!!

    MoonChild55,
Your new poem,"Shooting Stars," was beautiful in its format and imagery. This poem may be different in style but it's just as wonderful in conveying a picture of a shooting star. When I was a child I lived in Pennsylvania.I can't remember if it was NewHope,Pa. or Lambertville,Pa..This poem took me back to that time in my life.My sister and I watched a beautiful shooting star one night...it turned out to be a meteor and it actually landed in a field close to my house. Thanks for reminding me of that night. My prayers and thoughts are with you and yours always.

    excellent

Oh Sandy had to read this before I went to bed, caught my eye! Yes, oh I love it! Love anything to do with the night sky, my son is a big science buff, so we are always checking out the stars and formations at curtin times of the year, it's very clear here in the country, always seeing a shooting star, then I saw this about Novas, this is so great! Want to make a copy of this, my son would love it too! Beautiful, beautiful write, it will "win"...Wins in my book, you amaze me...so smooth, how do you do it! Well a nice way to end my night, just got back from swim practice, so we are off to bed. Thanks Sandy for the great write, you are such a joy! Ann
