The trust was strong and stable
How could I have been deceived
How could I be so blind
Betrayal of an enemy is foul
But that of an ally is even fouler
As if Satan had possessed his heart
No, a heart of even worse
The Prince of Darkness is nothing in the sight of him
The new king shall take his place
My heart was crushed and shattered at her words
Like blades sharper than of the finest smith
Like flames hotter than the fires of Hell
And then he comes
He steals her heart
That black man
Bestowing a curse
A curse far worse than any of the Dark Realm
An unspeakable evil
The betrayal of the foulest

i really want you to know that when it said black man i really thought you meant black man. but i only thought that for like 5 seconds! i'm kinda slow! lol i love the line about how the prince of darkness has nothing on him. i really have said that about a guy before. great poem. thank you so much for entering my contest and i wish you the best of luck!
