I give up

Im giving up hope.
Im letting go.
Is there a reason?
I really want to know!

You lead me to believe,
that we could be one.
But within a short time,
we were all of a sudden done?

I will keep stable.
I will be steady.
But I just can't sit here,
and wait for you to be ready.

I can't pretend to be ok.
I can't pretend to be calm.
You can tell that i'm hurting,
by the shaking of my palm.

    Awww...... I guess not. It almost seems like there is more to the poem, it'd be awesome if you added another stanza. (I enjoy your stuff so much) I can really feel your anger here, even though I haven't actually been through this. Oh wait..... actually I have been through something like this. I hope it all works out.... Your best stanza:

    You lead me to believe,
    that we could be one.
    But within a short time,
