Changes (within)

Here comes the sun again.
winter in full force.
The winds are cold
and in this season
it looks like everything has gone to sleep
waiting for Spring
for the warmth to wake them up.
I wish the neighbor's dog
would go to sleep.
Then in the evening I would get some peace.
But such is life.
Still tonight
there's a full moon
and we are headed south
to spend the winter
in Texas.
we have to start building.
Dad's eventually retiring.
But homes have to be built
and another page is turning within life.
Ah well...
what is life without change?
It looks like I'll find out.

    Your a dreamer like me.

From a literary perspective (like mine) your poems will be accepted by the everyman and probably analysed to death and criticised by others - fair enough i say, In some cases telling instead of showing can work as it brings the reader in and if its good enoguh they will feel empathy, feel anger simply...............feel, i did feel something from this and you kept the lenghth perfect.

This is a wonderful self reflective piece Bill. Not all changes are bad. Change often requires us to syep out on a limb and that's a good thing. New adventures, new faces, new memories... it's all good, unless you choose to make it otherwise. Make the best of what's to come. You will be just fine my friend.
