Born In A Manger

Twas the night before Christmas,
there was a star glowing  bright,
it was shining down on Bethlehem,
on a long  winter's night.

The sweet angels were singing,
you could hear them way up high,
each one following the starlight,
as they flew through the sky.

The three wise men saw the light,
they began to  travel afar,
knowing this night was very special,
as they followed the bright star.

Mary and Joesph were passing by,
the rooms were full at the inn,
they found a manger in the stable,
the miracle was about to begin.

The sheep and oxen huddle around,
a child was born this day in the hay,
this child would be the son of God,
we celebrate His birth on this day.

Let us all praise this glorious day,
the birth of our Savior is here,
Jesus Christ was born on Christmas,
let us celebrate this day each year.
