Farmer by day
Scientist by night
Blind as can be
and his mind not quite right
Cloning is fun
but cross breeding is better
I could make a cow fly
All it needs is some feathers
I'll breed a small cow
with a turkey of sorts
Turkcows will be the meat
served in all the food courts
I'll be rich, rich, rich
with my new animal strain
The world will bow to me
and my very large brain
Sadly to say
When all the work was done
All the mad farmer had
were a turkeys who mooed for fun.

I agree with popeye, it reminded me of those jokes as well. I enjoyed your poem, it was very clever with a great ending. I am really enjoying these funny poems. I am leaving you with some information that you might not be aware of.

Sort of reminds me of all those old what do youget when you cross a.... jokes that we heard years ago. Unfortunately the only one that comes to mind is a bit off color so will not be putting it here!
