Thank You Sweet Jesus

The moment God called out to me,
I was ready to take His hand,
knowing He was walking beside me,
by His footprints in the sand.

As I opened my heart God filled,
all my emptiness with His love,
God's spirit came streaming down,
into my soul from Heaven above.

Our Lord and Savior is so awesome,
to love Him was to be born again,
I sing praises to the King of Kings,
when my new life with Him began.

Each day I thank the Lord up above,
for accepting me into His family,
I will try to live my life for Him ,
in return God will give me eternity.

So today I sing praises to Jesus,
all my burdens have been left behind,
my life is filled with love for Him,
Jesus Christ is the Savior to mankind.
