I Would Rather Be Birding

Missing image
Write a poem about a bird without using the name
of the bird in your poem.
NO photos of that bird in your background.
Photos are okay, just not the bird you are writing about.
Be very descriptive, use a lot of imagery,
the sounds that the bird makes, the mating rituals,
anything you want to share about the bird you choose
                          to tell me about.

I know a lot about birds, so I want to be stumped.
That is your goal. Give all the information in your poem,
                     and try to stump me.
I am still looking for poems that are well written.
I applaud every poem that fits the contest.
It is my appreciation to you, for taking the time to enter.

A well done poem that stumps me gets 100 points.

It is also elgible for a trophy besides the 100 points

300 points for 1st
200 points for 2nd
100 points for 3rd
50 points for poems I love
100 points for every well written poem that stumps me

    I like ladybird.
    But ladybird is a dog.
If I described ladybird, and you didnt figure it out, would I have my points?
