You live in a world of darkness
you breath the air that could free my lungs
your stares are sharp
your face easy on my minds eye
it's a shame that behind such a face lies evil
i can see you there when your mask slips
your true self
hidden
you are there, in the dark
watching me in the light and hating
while i poor my heart out
hating
how nice to not see past your own world
to wallow in yourself until there is nothing to do but be no more
I cannot live in darkness
i will not join you
no matter how much your burning eyes beg
I will not live in hell to satisfy your hatred

Wow, it took me awhile to put my finger on it... I knew this poem reminded me of something. Perhaps it is just me, but it sounds like The Phantom Of The Opera. Who knows, anway... good job and keep it up!
