In a cradle of 'What if's and maybe'
held in cupped shaking hands
closed eyes and deepest wishes
can't return you from promise lands.
Love, Hope, Bitterness and Grief
pour out in the form of tears
thoughts settle after journey long
finding the better years
Colours vibrant, memories clear,
all the words you need to hear.
A Hug, A Squeeze, with time to please.
nothing left unsaid, you are special
and I Love you.. I'll always Love you x
Walking with an increasing grin, then a laugh unchecked,
A Look, A Stare, are you going mad? I hear...
they can't see I'm holding your hand,
If they looked into my tear-filled face,
maybe they could journey with me,
to your final resting place.
One day, My time will come..
Cry Happy Tears and remember the Fun..
I'm just taking a stroll,
holding hands, with my forever loving Mum.
Happy Birthday Mum.
