You are the sunshine

driving away the rain,

my only happiness

that drives away my pain.

I loved you from the beginning

though you already knew.

I'm just hoping you felt the same,

that I really am the only one for you.....

Lies go unmeasured,

from friends and family alike.

Only hoping you'll stand with me,

help me through this fight.

I hope you really believe me

when I say Ill always be here for you.

You'll get through this life,

even if it's without me, for my love is strong and true.

I just want you happy, for your happiness is mine,

I'll live for you, I'll die for you, for you I'll spend every dime.

All this is true, no more lies in my past,

I'll love you forever, but I just hope you will last....

yea, me n my bf broke up....again....im afraid its final this time tho....*sigh* it is easier putting things down in writing...i just dunno if it makes sense.....its just how i really feel.....its hard letting go...

    wow, even though im not really a fan of love poems, i can totally relate to this one. i got dumped a few days ago, and this is how i feel. its a very good write my friend, keep up the good work

    I understand this poem completely and it's exactly how I feel about my bf, though we haven't broken up. I loved this. It's a hreat write and it deserves an applause and it's being bookmarked. I hope things get better for you.
