Dear Lord I need to talk to you,
I am feeling a little down today,
come sit and talk with me awhile,
could we just sit and pray.
I know my problems are not gigantic,
and I know you will understand,
I know you will hold and comfort me,
please Lord come hold my hand.
Lord I know the day I met you,
you lifted all my burdens away,
you cleansed my soul of my sins
I felt brand new that day.
Lately things have gotten me down,
and I don't know what to do,
there is a problem in my life,
please Lord tell me what to do.
Lord I look to you for the answer,
let me know what I should do,
I put my faith in you Dear Lord,
I will wait for an answer from you.

Thank you so much Ann for your kind words last night and this morning. They mean alot to me. I was having a little bad day yesterday but I talked to God and prayed with my good friend and fellow poet live4eternity last night.. I feel great today. God does work His wonders. You were crying when you wrote it? Aw that's so sad! You should add that in an author's comment. It adds to the poem. The colour scheme is good too. But you're very good at spiritual poems and prayers and such. They're not just fluff, they're from the heart.

Are you new at this? this was good. I am not much of a rhyming person but I liked this pice. Just watch your spelling and keep going let it continue to flow with out cutting it off to early.
