Tears of a Little Girl

Neglected and afraid,
Hiding in the corner.
Doesn't want to be seen,
Yet screaming to be found.

Lonely and isolated,
Wanting only one friend,
Someone to confide in,
To forget all worries.

Someone to lean on,
When times are hard.
Someone who's always there,
Through good and bad.

Is it too much to ask
That every little child
Should have a friend?
No need to hear the tears,
Tears of a little girl.

    Heart Touching poem

    Hello Kaz
This piece is so heart wrenching, so well writen and so very true, I remember times in my life when I just needed a real friend someone to lean on when times were bad, sometimes I still sit in my little corner and cry needing a friend.
    A truely heartfelt write
    Take care because I care

thats what I use to have imaginary friends for. I had no trust in people... heck, I still don't and I'm 16! Anyways, I never needed a real friend because I had an active iamgination. But my heart goes out to this little girl wether she is real or not. I know what it is like to feel alone and abandoned... heck, I know what it's like to BE alone and abandoned! So I really liked this poem
