there's something under the surface
a secret no one knows
its eating at you slowly
you just wanna be alone
the pain underneath the smiles
slowly kills you more
a slow and painful murder
and no matter how hard you try
you just cant seem to let it go
you want it all to disappear
someone to take the pain
you can cut as far as the knife will go
but it wont make the hurt erase
so what do u do when you get this far
and you feel like your in a hole
how do u deal with the pain in your heart
other then just to sit and cry
you want to be alone
but you wont someone to care
you want someone to say "i love you"
some one you know will always be there
even tho it seems your alone
ill be by your side
i promise ill be there to tell you
"you cant get Through this, its alright"
no we may not be as close as some
but there's a place in my heart for you
and when i found out how sad you were
i wanted to help you get Through
i think about you often
think about how you feel
wondering if your alright
praying that you'll heal
i miss talking to you
to someone who relates
I'm glad i talking to you the certain night
before it was too late
but when i couldn't fix you
i couldn't control my eyes
the whole night i layed there
helpless as i cried
i hope that you will hold on
you can get Through these hard times
just be strong
never give up
its just not worth it
