A fisherman's boat on the mighty sea
Sways back and forth against the waves
Men with their lines in the water
Catching fish to earn their pay
Waves getting higher
Storm clouds up above
Turning around
Heading home
Nightfall
Comes
Now
Weary
And so tired
The men all prayed
As they thanked the Lord
For the catch of today
Far away they see the light
Of the old lighthouse near the shore
And they safely made it to the dock
As the storm suddenly started to roar
Author notes
I used the poem type of Ethere with the water theme. I did a double Ethere starting from 10 to 1 then from 1 to 10 sylables.

This is a lovely Double Ethere. I am afraid of boats so I could imagine how relieved the fisherman would be to make it to the shore just before the storm came on but still they had a productive day.
Thank-you for entering the contest! -
This is a beautiful Ethere piece. A calming feeling from being safe with the Lord watching us...using water makes it extra calming for it tells us once again how He can calm all storms in our life.
Thank you so much for taking the time to enter our contest.
